• An experienced Engineer to work alongside our site execution & commissioning in Marine, Fiber, and Oil & Gas verticals

• Work with project execution team, Project stages supporting the team to

o Carry independently technical requirements/specifications for Motors, Transformer, HT switchboard, LT switchboard.

o Understanding on plant engineering topics

o Knowledge of Electrical standards

• Collaborate with Engineering team for technical evaluation during the project cycle

• Support project team for scheduling and expediting project during execution cycle

• Responsible for maintaining site register and reports to the project team lead for internal reporting and reviews.

• Work on standardization of execution and estimation tools/formats.

• Role involves 90% travelling.

• Manage database:

o Record of site documents

o Updates/Version control for site formats

o Support to Proposal team

• Understanding of customer requirement & offering solutions at site.

• Meeting with client / consultant for their queries, issues during site execution.

• Technical discussion with Electricity Board & final load analysis approval.

• IS/IEC/IE standards for selection/sizing of equipment\xe2\x80\x99s.

• To prepare the site design basis for project, weekly, fortnightly work report, planning for next month work execution.

• Support to proposal & project team in terms of estimation of quantities for cables, cable trays, earthing, lighting, steel etc.

• Know how & understanding of Electrical equipment layout (Switchyard / Substation Room) cable tray routing & Cable trench layout. cable gallery arrangement & load details as input to civil. Earthing & lightning protection layout lighting layout. PV, AC system layout. Civil work guide layout.

• Know how & understanding of Installation & Commissioning of equipment\xe2\x80\x99s & Shut down activities.

• Know how & understanding of Civil & Structural Work.

• Know how & understanding of installation standards, IE/IEC/IS/CBIP guidelines.

• Installation & Commissioning for Marine, sugars, Co-generation, Fertilizer & power plants.

• Installation & commissioning of all equipment\xe2\x80\x99s in switchyard up to 132kV.

• Installation & commissioning of Power & Distribution transformers.

• Installation & commissioning of MV DG Set with stack.

• Installation & commissioning of Bud Duct, MV, LV & Control Panels.

• Installation of Cable trays, Earthing, Earth mat for switchyard, Lighting as per layouts.

• Making cutting schedule & laying of cables.

• Supervision on installation of MV & LV motors.

• Commissioning of MV/LV motors.

• Installation of SCADA, DCS, PLC at site.

• Testing of all equipment\xe2\x80\x99s at site.

• All types of relay settings.

• Cable rack installation.

• Supervision on the installation of fire detection & firefighting system.

• Supervision on the installation of PV & Air conditioning system.

• Mobilization of site, Planning day today work of Electrical Engineers, Electrician and wireman

• Proper utilization of man power and materials.

• Preparation of site schedule, reports & protocols.

• Performance Guarantee & hand over to Client.

• Preparation of documents to take Approval from Authorities such as DGMS, Electrical Inspectorate & Liaison work with these authorities for approval.

• Identifying project bottlenecks and undertaking corrective measures.

• Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe & timely execution of the projects.

• Erection and commissioning of equipment, followed by plant trial runs meeting targeted performance/ quality & quantity parameters and thereafter handing over of the plant.

• Preparation of civil drawings with consultant & input to consultant regarding electrical installation requirement, such as foundation details, trench details, DG stack details, opening & cutout details etc.

• BE/BTech/Diploma \xe2\x80\x93 Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Industrial Electronics

• 3+ years in projects involving electrical components/systems across electrical and automation field with basic engineering know how.

• Project proposals knowledge for the named verticals will be an added advantage.

• Has been part of a team working on similar role
