Assist in preparation and basic cooking of Indian dishes under the guidance of the Chef / CDP.
Support daily mise-en-place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
Follow standard recipes and instructions to maintain quality and consistency.
Assist in cleaning, cutting, grinding, and marination of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work station, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per HACCP guidelines.
Support senior chefs during peak service hours.
Properly store food items and assist in minimizing wastage.
Handle basic kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Required Skills & Experience
1-2 years of experience
Basic knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.
Willingness to learn South Indian cooking techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good time management and discipline.
Physically fit to work in a kitchen environment.
Education
Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
Freshers with relevant kitchen training may also be considered.
