. The role involves maintaining consistency in food quality, assisting chefs, and following all kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing
burgers, wraps, sandwiches, fries, and other menu items
as per recipes and standards.
Ensure
mise-en-place
is done before service (cutting vegetables, preparing sauces, assembling items, etc.).
Maintain high levels of
food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety
.
Follow
SOPs, portion sizes, cooking times
, and assembly procedures.
Support Commis II, Commis I, and the Chef in daily food preparation tasks.
Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.).
Ensure proper
storage, labeling, and rotation
of ingredients (FIFO).
Assist in receiving and storing raw materials and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and follow
FSSAI guidelines
.
Help with inventory checks and stock reporting when needed.
Work efficiently during peak hours and support the team in delivering fast service.
Requirements
0-1 year of experience in a QSR or restaurant kitchen (freshers can also apply).
Basic knowledge of
grilling, frying, assembling burgers/wraps
preferred.
Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and handling practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma/Certification in
Culinary Arts
,
Hotel Management
, or
F&B Production
(not mandatory).
Previous experience in burger/QSR brands is an added advantage.
