Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
Support the Commis I, Demi Chef, and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare mise-en-place for curries, tandoor, gravies, breads, and other Indian dishes.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as per company policies.
Assist in monitoring portion control and reducing food wastage.
Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and complete tasks timely.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Commis II or Commis in Indian cuisine.
Basic knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary diploma or certification preferred (not mandatory).
Working hours will be as per Duty Rotation
