Assist senior chefs in daily food preparation and kitchen operations
Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and spices as per kitchen requirements
Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work stations
Ensure proper storage of food items and follow FIFO procedures
Assist in receiving and checking raw materials
Support in controlling wastage and maintaining food quality
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen In-charge
Key Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as Commis II or similar role
Experience in restaurant, hotel, catering, or central kitchen preferred
Experience in Goan cuisine
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude
Candidates mostly preferred from Goa as well as nearby Goa area upto 600 KM only with relevant experience.
Education:
Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
