We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef with a strong interest in Asian cuisine to join our culinary team. As a Commis Chef, you will support senior chefs in preparing authentic and high-quality Asian dishes, including but not limited to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Southeast Asian styles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various Asian dishes according to recipes and standards.
Handle mise en place for assigned sections (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, preparing sauces).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation at all times.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards as per local regulations and company policies.
Work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to learn techniques and improve culinary skills.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients and products.
Assist with inventory checks and receiving deliveries.
Support team members during busy service periods and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
Uphold presentation, taste, and portion control standards for all dishes.
Be willing to learn and adapt to different regional Asian cooking styles and techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen (experience in Asian cuisine preferred).
Culinary diploma or equivalent training is a plus.
Passionate about Asian flavors and culinary traditions.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow instructions.
Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
High standards of personal hygiene and grooming.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
