to join our cloud kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality Asian dishes, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and support overall kitchen operations in a fast-paced delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of Asian dishes including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, or Pan-Asian cuisine as per menu standards.
Handle mise en place for sauces, vegetables, meats, and seafood, ensuring freshness and correct portioning.
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency across all delivery orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
Label and store ingredients and prepared food in accordance with FIFO (First In First Out).
Support senior chefs in inventory management and receiving stock deliveries.
Maintain proper handling of kitchen equipment and promptly report any maintenance issues.
Minimize waste and follow portion control guidelines.
Comply with all cloud kitchen SOPs, including packaging, order tagging, and coordination with dispatch.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as Commis Chef in Asian cuisine (experience in cloud kitchen is a plus).
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards (FSSAI knowledge preferred).
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, delivery-focused environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
Physically fit to stand for long hours and handle kitchen duties.
Team player with a positive attitude.
