Key Responsibilities:
Assist the
Tandoor Chef
in preparing, marinating, and cooking dishes using the tandoor oven (e.g., kebabs, naan, roti, tandoori chicken, etc.).
Ensure all mise en place (ingredients, sauces, marinades, and accompaniments) is prepared before service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor area, equipment, and utensils.
Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
Ensure the tandoor oven is properly heated, maintained, and cleaned after use.
Assist in receiving and storing raw materials and ingredients according to standards.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines as per HACCP standards.
Work as part of the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Skills & Qualifications:
Basic culinary training or diploma from a recognized institute preferred.
Minimum
1- years of experience
in a tandoor or Indian kitchen environment.
Good understanding of Indian spices, marinades, and traditional cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency in quality.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in kitchen operations.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
