Assist in preparation of ingredients and basic cooking under supervision
Perform mise en place duties before service
Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
Assist in proper storage and labeling of food items
Support senior chefs during service hours
Minimize food wastage and follow cost control procedures
Follow kitchen policies and instructions from supervisors
