. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are beginning their culinary journey and want to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen. As Commis 3, you will assist senior chefs with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and following kitchen safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation under the supervision of Commis 1, Commis 2, or Chef de Partie.
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized at all times.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines strictly.
Receive and store kitchen supplies and ingredients properly.
Support with mise en place and setting up ingredients before service.
Dispose of kitchen waste in a safe and clean manner.
Be willing to learn and take on new tasks as assigned by senior chefs.
Requirements:
0-1 year of kitchen experience (freshers welcome to apply).
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Eagerness to learn culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Physically fit to work in a busy kitchen environment.
Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to take instructions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
Completed or pursuing a diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
