Job Description

Prepare, cook, and present oriental cuisine dishes to the highest standard in a timely manner. Follow standard recipes and portion control to minimize waste and ensure consistent quality. Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in all kitchen areas in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards. Assist with the receiving and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen tools. Communicate effectively with team members and support other sections as needed. Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef de Partie of any shortages. Assist in training junior staff and apprentices in oriental cooking techniques and food safety practices. Stay up to date with current food trends and oriental cuisine techniques.

Requirements:



Proven experience in oriental cuisine (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, or Middle Eastern cooking preferred). Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant training is an advantage. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining environment. Good knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
