Assist Chef de Partie in managing daily operations.
Ensure mise-en-place is ready before service.
Follow portion control and minimize wastage.
Quality & Standards
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
Follow hotel/restaurant recipes and plating guidelines.
Check freshness of ingredients before use.
Hygiene & Safety
Ensure cleanliness of workstation and equipment.
Follow HACCP and food safety standards.
Practice safe handling of kitchen tools and equipment.
Teamwork & Coordination
Work closely with seniors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
Assist in training new kitchen helpers or Commis II/III.
Inventory & Cost Control
Store ingredients properly to avoid spoilage.
Report shortages, breakages, or equipment malfunctions to seniors.
Use supplies efficiently to control food cost.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as a Commi II/III or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of hygiene & safety standards.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
