Assist in preparing ingredients, sauces, and garnishes as per recipes and menu requirements.
Ensure all mise-en-place (preparation) is completed before each service.
Support the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
Cook basic dishes under supervision, following standard recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain consistency and presentation of dishes.
Learn and improve cooking skills to move toward higher responsibilities.
Follow all food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures (HACCP standards).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and equipment.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items.
Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Report any spoilage, wastage, or quality concerns to the Demi Chef or Chef de Partie.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Assist in other kitchen sections when required.
Maintain professional communication and cooperation with colleagues.
Continuously learn new skills, recipes, and techniques from senior chefs.
Take feedback positively and work on improving performance.
Use kitchen tools and equipment safely and correctly.
Report any damage or malfunction immediately to the senior chef.
