Job Description

Commis 1 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items under the supervision of senior chefs. This role ensures consistent quality and helps maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking dishes as per standard recipes. Support the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation. Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest quality. Follow proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures. Comply with hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations. Help train and support Commis 2 and kitchen trainees. Assist in controlling wastage and maintaining portion standards.
Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Commis 2 or similar role. Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food safety standards. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Culinary degree or diploma preferred. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
