Position Summary:
The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team in food preparation, basic cooking, hygiene maintenance, and daily cleaning. This is an entry-level opportunity for culinary growth in a busy professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients accurately.
Maintain food preparation and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
Ensure all food items are stored, labeled, and used within safety guidelines.
Plate and present dishes as directed by the Chef de Partie.
Help with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and stock rotation.
Follow kitchen hygiene and safety protocols consistently.
Assist in basic cleaning duties, including workstations and kitchen utensils.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary diploma preferred.
Prior kitchen experience is a plus and at times needs to assist the kitchen requirements
Comfortable taking direction from senior staff, eager to learn new skills.
Good teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
