Assist in preparing mise-en-place for assigned sections (grill, saute, cold kitchen, etc.).
Cook and plate Continental dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Ensure food portions and quality are maintained consistently.
Support senior chefs during service periods for smooth and timely operations.
Kitchen Operations
Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients and prepared food items.
Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are used safely and maintained in good condition.
Follow daily cleaning schedules and uphold hygiene and sanitation standards.
Report any shortages or maintenance issues to the Chef de Partie.
Quality & Hygiene
Follow HACCP, FSSAI, and restaurant hygiene protocols at all times.
Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Maintain personal grooming and hygiene as per kitchen standards.
Teamwork & Coordination
Work collaboratively with other kitchen sections (Indian, Bakery, Pantry, etc.) to ensure timely service
Communicate effectively with service staff for special requests or modifications.
Learn continuously from senior chefs and participate in training sessions.
