Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of salads, soups, pasta, grills, and other continental items.
Support the Commi I and CDP in mise-en-place, portioning, and food prep.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workstation and kitchen area.
Follow kitchen safety protocols and food handling procedures.
Store ingredients properly and assist in stock rotation.
Learn and adhere to standard recipes and plating guidelines.
Report any equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor.
Be open to learning and taking guidance from senior chefs.
Requirements:
6 months to 1 year of experience in a continental kitchen (preferred).
Basic knowledge of Western/continental cuisine.
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
