Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled

to assist in the preparation and cooking of

Chinese and Continental dishes

in our multi-cuisine kitchen. The ideal candidate will support the Chef de Partie by maintaining quality, hygiene, and efficiency during food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and cooking a wide range of

Continental and Chinese vegetarian dishes

including soups, starters, main courses, and sauces as per recipes and standards. Perform mise-en-place duties such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, dough, and batters. Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of dishes. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines strictly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation. Help in inventory management by reporting ingredient usage and shortages. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods. Adhere to all restaurant and kitchen SOPs and standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in

Chinese and Continental cuisine

, preferably in a multi-cuisine or vegetarian kitchen. Good knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes for both cuisines. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong sense of hygiene and food safety awareness. Ability to work well in a team and take instructions from senior chefs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory). Experience in vegetarian kitchens is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

Rotational shifts covering lunch and dinner services. Weekend and holiday availability required.
