We are currently expanding our team and seeking a seasoned and detail oriented Commissioning Editor to join our content team. The role is primarily to produce content for the global platforms of The CEO Magazine . The role encompasses editing and proofreading profiles, and liaising with all stakeholders to achieve client satisfaction. Alongside an in-depth knowledge of the India & South Asia, and the Middle East\'s business landscapes, the Commissioning Editor will suggest ideas for stories that deliver value to the brand\'s loyal audience and see them through to publication. You will need exceptional writing, grammar and communication skills with a background in digital publishing. What you will do: Produce business profiles and unique digital content for all the brand\'s digital platforms Prepare social media sells where necessary for content on X, Facebook and LinkedIn Grow the content offering on the global digital feed by commissioning, writing and editing new commercial and non-commercial content, sourcing FOC content and curating suitable global website content where necessary Handle client approvals for commercial content Develop a network of skilled freelance journalists to help the company meet its commercial content goals. Work closely with the Content Directors, Media Managers,Production, Design and Digital teams for all commercial content collateral Adhere to the tone and style of The CEO Magazine \'s style guides Work to deadline, including ensuring all profiles are edited, proofread and approved by deadline Check against sales lists to ensure Monday.com is accurate in terms of profiles going live in a particular sales month, ads and word counts. Propose feature ideas for the global digi feed and advise on the scope of feature ideas from other sources so that all feature content produced resonates with a global readership. We\'re a great match if you have: High Level of English (native or near native) Bachelor\'s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field A minimum of 8 years of experience in a comparable role in digital publishing Exceptional writing, grammar and communications skills Great organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines An eagle eye for detail Experience writing for international regions, highly regarded but not essential Ability to craft punchy social media sells Ability to work well in a team located across various regions. Digital writing, CMS (WordPress) and SEO knowledge.
