Position Cognos Senior Lead/Architect

Responsibilities Working directly with our clients, prospects and partners to deliver high quality business intelligence solutions to our customers Working with users to gather requirements and analysis. Working with the management on creating project estimates and resource planning. Responsible for the overall Cognos Design for projects Developing reports and dashboards, optimized for the best performance and scalability requirements using Cognos Leading a team Working closely with multiple teams (like ETL, QA etc.) Assisting in test planning and execution during System Testing and UAT Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
Preferred Background Overall 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience Cognos Reporting with more than 1 year hands on with Framework Manager Hands on the latest version of Cognos (Cognos Analytics) preferable Exposure to Data Modelling. Ability to understand LDM/PDM Exposure to basics of Cognos Administration Good knowledge of Cognos Mobile Experience in handling Security and Performance Optimization Experience with full life cycle BI projects from Requirements Analysis to GO LIVE Ability to interact directly with users for Requirements Analysis Should have excellent communication, leading big team & project management capacity. A thorough understanding of the Cognos architecture and development best practices Knowledge of Investment Banking preferred
