Job Description


Opportunity Play a key role in depot operations, driving the P&L, leading transformation with repurposing of assets, fulfil compliance, maintain safety, drive infra development, innovation, and delivering projects and new initiatives & warehouse business. This role plays a key role in delivering superior services to customers, process standardization and in-sourcing for lead logistics Operations Management .Deliver operational KPIs .Optimize resources with high safety standards Drive automation and technology deployments for sites .Plan for contingency and uninterrupted services Labour Management and Union handling Drive timely implementation .HSSE adherence in operations .Conformity to SOPs and IMS .Following customs guidelines at site .Drive compliance and regulatory requirements .Risk identification and mitigation Business standardization in alignment with defined principles Drive process Improvements Drive Customer MBR/QBR Driving P&L .Lead owned and leased Depots, CFS, Warehouses, Cold Storage .Site performance (cost/utilization) Customer commercial negotiations .Drove continuous improvement to reduce cost .Plan repurposing to increase business and in-sourcing .Drive efficiency projects to bridge with benchmark cost in operations .Investment decisions and follow up on the same .Support OVC business to gain freehand volume .Handle third party sites for other shipping line containers, outsourced operations Leadership .People development .Talent pipeline .Lead team engagement and development .Maintain positive relationship with stakeholders .Plan employee trainings .Decision making Product Development and Deployment -Customer focused new products -Bundled services / products for OVC -Cold Storage operations -Manage FbM products (Domestic containers, Warehouse, extended storage) Key Deliverables - Cluster P&L (Depot, Warehouses, Cold Storage, Consolidations) - Operational KPIs - C-SAT Score - IMS Audit - Customer Audits - Gallup Engagement Key Competencies - Minimum 15 years\' experience in similar industry and managing P&L - Entrepreneurial drive with cost-conscious mindset - Collaborative and strategic mindset - Result oriented, drive for execution, and innovation - Leadership skills, leading by example, team building and motivating skills - Situational leadership and decision making - Analytical and negotiation skills - Ability to influence, collaborate and drive business midst ambiguity - Stakeholder management & conflict resolution - Ability to challenge Status quo
