Strategy Drive profitable growth by acquiring, developing, and servicing long-term relationships with HNW clients Business Develop and implement the business/sales plans for the team Deliver NNM, AUM, and Revenue growth targets and key operating metrics for the team (client acquisition, client satisfaction, product holdings, RM attrition etc) Work with Market Head to build, lead and uptier a team of world class Private Bankers and ensure that the Private Banking team works effectively with all Product partners and other stakeholders (e.g. Risk, Legal & Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Operations etc) Work with product partners, support functions etc. to deliver One Bank (be the funnel for RM activities) Assign referrals to team members and work with assigned RMs to successfully close referrals Act as an escalation point for clients to identify areas of concern Supervisory Responsibilities: Apply a sufficiently robust level of oversight and support to limit errors or malfeasance by direct reports, to drive business ethically and in compliance, and to develop the skills of their direct reports. Processes Support the continuous improvement of processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. Support the effective management of operational risks across the Business and in compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations at a global level. Support the delivery of Business strategy in a safe and well-controlled manner and on an end-to-end basis. Ensure sales management, suitability and onboarding processes are applied appropriately. People and Talent Champion and act as a role model of the Group&rsquos values and culture for the team Build a top team capable of ensuring delivery of the business' short and longer-term objectives through Develop and embed a high performance culture with specific focus on RM capability, effectiveness and productivity Coaching, guidance and management of team to ensure they deliver against the financial, non-financial and risk/control objectives Driving an environment of collaboration within the team, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner Drive RM resourcing, performance management and recognition Develop and embed a high performance culture with specific focus on RM capability, effectiveness and productivity Identifying and addressing the top issues/opportunities for performance improvement in the team Management of discretionary spend, expense management Risk Management Understand the risk and control environment in their area of responsibility and drive rectification as required Be the first line of defence Clear structures of accountability to ensure that team members are capable of performing successfully in their roles Ensure effective implementation of Risk Management framework in the team Risk appetite is clear and integral to the strategy with appropriate controls Effective processes in place to identify, manage, monitor and report risk Timely handling of client complaints and in all cases report and escalate to management in accordance with established procedures. Systems and procedures to safeguard the security, integrity and confidentiality of information Governance Ensure adequate and appropriate systems and controls are in compliance with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes, including those governing all Risk types, Compliance, Operational Risk, Technology and Operations, Finance and Reputation Ensure adherence with the following Regulatory Compliance policies and processes (both on-shore & offshore, as is applicable): Anti Money laundering (AML) and all applicable money laundering prevention procedures Client Due Diligence & Related Periodic Reviews Client Suitability Standards Treating Customers Fairly Approval & review of Credit Applications Maintain Documentary standards Data Confidentiality Cross-Border Policy Participate in the Local Client Committee and other relevant committees where applicable Embed the Group&rsquos values and code of conduct to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture Engage with all audit report findings for the team and ensure feedback is acted upon Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.
