Cluster Business Manager
Department: Operations
Qualification: Master's Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
Experience: 5 - 10 Years

The role reports to the Zonal Head - Primary School and is responsible for managing business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Management and Administration

  • Liaise with the project team to track school construction & schedule to prepare for launch.
  • Liaise with operations and procurement team to ensure timely delivery of launch kit and marketing kit.
  • Build relations with Business Partners ensuring effective implementation of operation & marketing plan.
  • Continuous research of changes in the market that can be used by the school to enhance its USP.
  • Liaise with Support Functions at Zee Learn for operation support
  • Find solutions to all critical incidences in conjunction with Cluster Head.
  • Prepare and Conduct BP Induction
  • Re-evaluate the existing SOP and ensure adherence of the process and procedure at the School.
  • Liaise with BP for procuring of Gear.
2. Marketing
  • Evaluate the catchment analysis and competition analyses completed by KAMs and develop and plan the launch plan for each school.
  • Finalise the strategies to achieve admission targets for each school in the 1st year.
  • Prepare the marketing Calendar for new schools in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • Overlook the implementation of the ATL and BTL activities on ground level.
  • Overlook and ensure effect spend of the schools marketing budget.
  • Work with marketing team to develop and implement School Activation programs.
  • Review and rework on the quarterly marketing calendar to maximise WOM and FOOTFALLS at the school.
  • Overlook the PR strategy to promote the school.
3. Facility Management
  • Ensure the school infrastructure is ready for use as per the agreed scope for the 1st year.
  • Guide the BP and operations team to follow the brand guidelines.
4. Parental Communication and Involvement
  • Conduct lost customer survey.
  • Prepare and Evaluate the half yearly Customer Satisfaction Survey (Parents).
  • Overlook and Evaluate trends of critical incidence and grievances.
  • Design and develop strategies to encourage parents to be actively involved with the school.
5. Financial Responsibility
  • Ensure the franchisee is financially compliant with Zee Learn
  • Prepare the profitability Calendar for BP to follow.
Skills and Qualities:
  • Masters Degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • Self Starter with the ability to analyse, design, develop and implement marketing and
  • operational plans for a successful launch of a school.
  • Strong Networking and Presentation Skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, communicate, present
  • effectively with all the shareholders (ZL, School team, Parents and Students) of the school.
  • Excellent Communication and information management skills including high level of accuracy
  • and attention to detail.
