Role Overview:


We are looking for a seasoned Cloud / DevOps Lead with over 11 years of experience to lead our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments while driving automation and continuous delivery pipelines.


As a Cloud / DevOps Lead, you will collaborate closely with development, operations, security, and product teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software solutions. Lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.


Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Chef.


Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for disaster recovery and backup.


Collaborate with development teams to enable seamless integration, testing, and deployment workflows.


Define and enforce DevOps best practices including version control, branching strategies, and release management.


Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives.


Ensure compliance with security policies and standards across cloud environments.


Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and cloud administrators.


Stay current with emerging cloud and DevOps technologies and recommend improvements.


Participate in capacity planning, architecture reviews, and technology evaluations. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


11+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management.


Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


Expertise in CI/CD tooling and pipeline creation.


Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.


Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).


Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).


Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.


Understanding of networking, security groups, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.


Experience working in Agile and DevOps cultures.


Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.


Experience with service mesh, serverless architectures, and cloud-native applications.


Knowledge of compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS.


Prior experience in mentoring teams and driving organizational DevOps transformation.
