Job Description


Role: Support Engineer About VAST:- A dynamic and high performing team engaged working on latest

club Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborating with various support teams to deliver an excellent customer service experience.
\xef\x82\xb7 Working directly with clients to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues within their SAP B1/
server environment.
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for any client issues on SAP B1 infrastructure mostly on AWS environment.
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintenance of Windows/HANA servers including resizing of EC2 instances.
\xef\x82\xb7 Creating SQL & HANA DB backups/restore, creating users in SQL & HANA Dbs.
\xef\x82\xb7 Creating VPN tunnels and troubleshooting VPN issues along with any RDP issues.
\xef\x82\xb7 Installing third-party software\xe2\x80\x99s and troubleshooting any conflicts.
\xef\x82\xb7 Administering end-user and security profiles across 100+ Windows and Linux servers.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assisting with configuration and deployment of new AWS cloud environments; and
\xef\x82\xb7 Creating and maintaining procedural documentation for our internal support processes.
Key Skills:
\xef\x82\xb7 3+ years minimum experience working in a Windows System Administrative role.
\xef\x82\xb7 5+ years minimum experience working in a client-facing support role.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience supporting production Windows and Linux systems in mission-critical
environments.
\xef\x82\xb7 Microsoft Windows Client and Server Operating Systems 2008 and above.
\xef\x82\xb7 Microsoft Server Technologies (AD, Exchange, Terminal Services, SharePoint, etc.);
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven network fundamentals in configurating & troubleshooting VLANs, routing, IP subnetting,
802.1x.TPC\\IP DNS, DHCP, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrated competency in server administration and security protocols.
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving & customer service skill.
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge and exposure to SSO, ADFS and leveraging products i.e., DUO, Okta considered a
strong asset.
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent communication skills both written & oral.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience supporting servers in an AWS (or other cloud environment).
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge and exposure on configuring routers and firewalls.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong skills configuring and troubleshooting VPNs.
\xef\x82\xb7 MS accreditations, AWS accreditation, & SAP accreditations are considered strong assets.
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge and experience supporting ERP solutions(SAP B1) are considered strong assets.
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with support \xe2\x80\x98best practices (i.e., ITIL Framework) Superior people skills; team-
oriented, fast learner, and very personable; considered a strong asset.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to manage multiple projects/tickets simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Self-motivated, an independent thinker, driven to achieve success within a customer support
environment and understands the importance of delivering value to our customers.
