With offices in the USA and India, it empowers organizations to transform and secure their IT infrastructure, scale up their operations, and manage customer workloads from ISO 27000-certified Global Network Operations Centers (GNOC).

To augment its growth , company is looking for Cloud Support Engineer at its ODC in Bangalore.

Designation : Cloud Support Engineer

Years of Experience : 2 to 6 Years

Work Location : Bangalore ( No work from Home considered )

Notice Period: Immediate or 15 days Max

Education level: B.E./MCA (CSE/IT/Electronics )


1) Use monitoring tools AWS Cloudwatch, Nagios and other tools such to review alerts about the infrastructure and take corrective actions
2) Remotely connect to servers, applications to troubleshoot faults or handle incidents
3) Use ticket tracking software to record all work activity, timesheet etc, following defined processes based on ITIL methodology
4) If the incident or ticket cannot be solved immediately, Communicate via phone, chat and/or Email, follow escalation procedure and assign the tickets to the appropriate teams and coordinate for resolution and resolve incidents
5) Troubleshoot every case/event/incident and check the opportunity to restore the service or give an acceptable workaround in order to meet the immediate business needs
6) Read knowledgebase articles or vendor documentation to be up to date on the current technologies used within the infrastructure. Should be able to read documentation or procedures and take action based on defined steps
7) Ensure the timely creation of necessary reports or documentation related to the job or update the knowledge base
8) Work in shifts 24x7 in rotational shifts
9) Be a good team player and handle pressures of 24x7 operations job

Requirements
This position requires a good understanding of Linux, Shell Scripting, and Python. The required skills include:
1) 1-2 Years of L1 / L2 Experience in Cloud Environment/Amazon- AWS services / Microsoft Azure
2) Linux Server, Apache, Tomcat, Python, MY SQL /Pos Gres SQL Server, DNS Installation& Configuration
3) Knowledge of Linux Firewall & Anti-Virus, Scripting, Python
4) Good in written & oral communication in English
5) Good sense of customer service
