A multi-skilled technology specialist with a keen interest in learning new technologies, mentoring development teams and providing solutions to complex requirements in the area of digital applications, cloud and other emerging technologies.

Will be expected to work as a member of the technology practice, leading specific technology areas based on the business direction, participating in customer projects wherever required and taking the lead in pre-sales activities such as proposals and estimations. May also need to play an individual contributor / consultant role for short durations when required. Travel to locations within our outside of India may be required for a short term and/or long term based on business situations.

All our architects are expected to be hands-on and are expected to be able to converse at various levels of technical details, right from architecture to code.

Skills

Must haves

10+ years of overall experience in the IT industry with at least 4 years experience in architecture and design of complex systems using modern technologies like Microservices, Cloud Native architectures, Containerization and Devops principles.

Proficient in application architecture and design following 12 factor principles.

Flexibility to adapt to new technologies

Experience in designing and developing scalable and extensible applications with cloud deployments using state of the art automation tools and frameworks.

Proficient with at least 1 cloud platform.

Excellent communication skills with experience in global communication, customer and vendor management.

Defining / evaluating technical risks and map out mitigation strategies.

Experience in delivering applications with various deployment strategies: Rolling, Blue Green, Canary Deployments

Understanding of Networks and network configuration

Proficient in Git based SCM, docker, Kubernetes, Implementing CI/CD for multi service applications using tools like Jenkins, JenkinsX, ArgoCD, CircleCi, Gitlab CI, AWS Code pipeline

Nice to have

Architect level certification in any of the cloud providers

Exposure to non-functional requirement design

Exposure to new-age technologies such as Blockchain, Quantum computing and AI
