JD for Cloud Security Engineer

(Experience of 3-5 years is preferred)

Location: Chennai

Role & Responsibility: . Implementation knowledge on securing Private/Public/Hybrid cloud environments and Infrastructure, you will work with members of the cloud operations teams to find and fix potential vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in the cloud environment . Responsible for the thorough documentations of implementations, via technical documentation and run books . Review security controls and configuration requirements for cloud environments . Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cloud Security controls . Develop consistent methods for reporting overall security status and security maturity of our cloud platforms . Evaluate the security of any third party or marketplace tool in our cloud environment . Responsible for automating security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support . Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments . Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls . Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company's Cloud offerings . Familiarity with third-party security operations and posture management products . Develop and administer Security Engineering processes and review of systems to ensure that controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively. . Be proactive to keep up to date on cloud security trends and news Advantage: . Experience on CSPM tools Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, Cloudsploit, OpenCSPM . Experience on CWPP platform for workload security (E.g., Kubernetes/Docker/VM) . Knowledge supporting DevSecOps/App security . Experience in working with consulting practice. Certification Preferred

• Mandatory to have at least 1 public cloud security related certification / CCSK.
