Job Description

Integrated Electrical System segment develops Capital, a software suite used globally by automotive and aerospace manufacturers and wire harness suppliers to improve their electrical distribution system (EDS) design and manufacturing flows. Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire and develop the best ? you will build, motivate, coach & retain a diverse team of QA engineers
- Participate in product definition, project planning and tracking including task investigation, work breakdown and estimation
- Participate in continuous improvement of architecture, infrastructure, processes, skills and the organization
- Transform multitier on-premises solution to be modern cloud-native while being able to run on-premises
- Collaborate across the teams to optimize the effort & resources needed to operate cloud products Ensure sustainable quality for product commitments on agreed timelines by developing test strategies & plans, and execute them across various platforms
- Creates & enhances automated tests suite towards commitment to better quality and reduced time for validation/testing Essential Criteria
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other technical/scientific domain
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work as part of a global distributed team with mixed cultures and different time zones
- Self-organization skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in writing testcases, execution and reporting/validation of bugs
- Experience in creation & maintenance of automated tests & test suites
- Knowledge of various testing techniques/methodologies
- Knowledge of designing test cases/plan
- Software troubleshooting experience Desirable Criteria
- Testing certification (like ISTQB)
- Experience with automation looks like Selenium, Protractor is desirable
- Experience in writing shell scripts/programs (in any language) will be desirable
- Experience in AWS cloud technologies e.g., Aurora, EKS, ECS, S3 etc.
- Experience with CAD software
- Familiarity with electrical and harness domains
