Job Title: Cloud Ops Manager :
Roles and Responsibilities :

Operating Model ; Governance :
  • Provide inputs, assist in design, development and implement cloud system &
service SLAs and OLA across HB Projects. Ensuring smooth provisioning of the
services to HB projects and internal users.
  • Also confirming all Cloud / OEM vendor arrangements, across the HB Projects and
teams are aligned to AHA/HB IT Service Delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to Cloud
Services in order to facilitate flow of information, alignment and build awareness.
Cloud Service Framework :
  • Design, develop, review, refine and continuously monitor Key Cloud service
delivery Models and IT standards to ensure quality SLA based service from the key
cloud service providers to all HB Projects.
  • Monitor compliance with the standard IT service delivery framework, policies, and
procedures to ensure full compliance across all HB Projects.
  • Develop mechanisms (reports, meetings and forums) for Service Level
communication to all the relevant HB Leaders.
  • Development of integrated Service Levels ( Service Availability and Support SLAs)
based on the integrated technology architecture.
Cloud Service Management & Delivery :
  • Define Service Levels for all cloud Service providers, devise mechanism and
integration points for Service management tools and systems.
  • Ensure development of roadmap for improvement and introduction of the SLAs and
OLA within the business for all cloud providers.
  • Identify any gaps in the existing Cloud Service Providers and then organise to
negotiate the aligned Service Levels for cloud Services.
  • Liaise with IT peers across HB to provide support and guidance on IT service
delivery issues and to assist in building capabilities.
Performance Monitoring and Improvements :
  • Design, implement and manage KPI reporting to measure the quality and
effectiveness of HB\xe2\x80\x99s AWS / Azure Cloud.
  • Implement Service Availability Model for support to HB IT Service decision support
system.
  • Identify and lead service improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery
performance and efficiencies and implementing cost reductions.
  • Recommend the services of external service providers to support HB in sourcing
and appointing appropriate IT services and support.

Reporting :
  • Develop all related reports and statements in a comprehensive, accurate and
timely manner, and meet business and functional requirements and standards.
  • Reporting must be done at multiple stakeholder levels.
+ To Technical HB IT teams and business teams
+ Executive Level reports to be part of the monthly business review of the cloud
service performance. Desired Skills & Competencies:
\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred) or equivalent
work experience.
\xef\x82\xb7 Infrastructure experience and knowledge including a basic understanding of
AWS Cloud infrastructure/services and delivery models, storage concepts,
networking basics, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 8-years work experience with at least 5 years of specialized hands-
on.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience managing resources in a fast moving environment and on projects
with evolving requirements and accelerated timelines.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong project management skills (organization and time). \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to apply standardized project control mechanisms (e.g., planning,
progress tracking, estimating and budgeting, resource planning and
allocation, issue and risk management, process improvement).
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\xef\x82\xb7 Self-learner/self-starter who can be immediately effective with ambiguity or a
lack of direction.
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be willing to communicate for the good of the project \xe2\x80\x93 someone who is
not afraid to express an opinion.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with ITIL or ITSM a plus.
\xef\x82\xb7 AWS Professional certification is a strong plus.
\xef\x82\xb7 Team player who values honesty and transparency, credits others and is
willing to share success.
