Are you a Cloud enthusiast looking for a new challenge in your career? Then this job is for you! We are looking for AWS Operations Engineer at our newly established Cloud Operations Center in Chennai, India.
In this role, you will work in the position of AWS Operations Engineer at Cloud Operations Center, responsible for running and supporting ASSA ABLOY Global Cloud Services globally, 24/7. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver & run multiple Cloud Projects / Environments for different ASSA ABLOY Business Units.
Special in this Role In this role you will have the possibility to see immediate, direct results of your efforts, you will build environments and manage them through the entire environment lifecycle. The motto is: \xe2\x80\x9cBuild and manage your own house\xe2\x80\x9d
Experience level :
2 to 10 years.
Qualification :

• Ability to attend interview in person on the set date for the recruitment drive.
• Certification in Azure or AWS is a must.
• Willingness to work in 24/7 shifts from office.
• Willingness to work in multi-cloud environments.
• Should have worked as a team lead / team member in a cloud operations team or Solution engineering and consulting.
• Good administrative skills on Windows or Linux OS, Basic infrastructure services.
• Good written & spoken communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn new technology and deliver.
• Problem solving ability.
• Managing cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.

Good to have :

• Automation skill on any platform or language.(PowerShell, Python etc.)
• Cloud implementation templating skills such as (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• More than 1 reputed organization in the work experience

:
Resource is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of cloud computing systems. This includes tasks such as monitoring performance, ensuring security, performing maintenance and updates, and resolving technical issues. Key responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring system performance and availability to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

• Ensuring security and compliance of the cloud environment by implementing best practices and monitoring for potential threats.

• Performing maintenance and updates to systems, including software and security patches.

• Troubleshooting technical issues and working with other teams to resolve problems.

• Assisting with the deployment of new applications and services in the cloud.

• Developing and maintaining documentation, such as runbooks and technical procedures.

• Collaborating with other teams, such as development, security, and network operations, to optimize cloud operations.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong technical background, with experience in cloud computing and a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings. They should also have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Location
