Roles and Responsibilities :-
The responsibility of the cloud network architect is to architect, design, define BoQ of network and security devices and cloud network services, implement, operate & maintain existing networks devices & cloud network services, ensure capacity to meet committed SLA while meeting the business traffic requirements. He/she possess good understanding of both technical and business skills and works in coordination with the software and hardware teams to get the necessary network equipment and cloud network services in place.




Responsibilities and Duties Planning and designing data communication networks in Hybrid Multi cloud landscape Overseeing the network implementation process, including setting schedules and budgets Managing information and network security Implementing upgrades to hardware and software as needed Performing maintenance and repairs to network equipment Keeping documentation of networks, including drawings, descriptions, and configurations Researching network technologies and staying up to date on advancements in the field Design and plan the network structure for DoP. Should consider factors like bandwidth, infrastructure, cost, distance, and other technical factors while planning the Network layout. Should evaluate the performance and the state of the network and make suggestions to DoP for any modifications to the existing network. Should play an important role in upgrading the network and optimizing the performance. Responsible for checking and ensuring that the network is not vulnerable to any attacks. Should keep aware of the factors and new threats that might affect network security. Design, implement, and manage security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities are discovered. Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system findings and enhancements. Responsible for checking the latest trends and advising DoP of the ways they can adopt them if there is a need. Proper documentation of the network designs should be done and discussed with DoP on how it will help in a disaster recovery scenario. Network documentation includes network drawings, text descriptions and equipment configurations. Liaising with managers and technical staff to analyze the information technology infrastructure needs of the organization. Research and implement network software, such as network drivers and monitoring applications



Education Qualification:-
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.



Certification:-
Cloud networking Certification in at least two from AWS/Azure/GCP Network+ CompTIA A+ or CCENT Networking certificate from Cisco/Microsoft/Novel (preferred) Security+ GIAC security essentials (GSEC) Certified information security manager (CISM) Certified information systems security professional (CISSP)




Work Experience 15 years of relevant work experience. Experience of building communication networks and other internal
networks (LAN, WAN, and intranets) Experience of network modeling for large organizations preferably in the public sector. Demonstrated experience in designing network security. Profound technical knowledge to list the network & security requirements. Architecting, Designing, Planning, and upgrading network & Security projects Extensive knowledge in all aspects of network & Security technology At least 5 years of network design and network modeling experience across multiple organizations. Extensive knowledge of computer operations and systems with relevance to network modeling and network security. Strong knowledge of network design, techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Understanding of new trends and technologies Design, Test, and Inspect Network systems Manage technical network solutions and frameworks Establishing and maintaining backup, version control and viral defense systems Develop and deliver professional proposals Design documentation Manage technology vendors
