Technology Services Group (TSG) keeps BNY Mellon\'s technology running and defines and executes the firm\xe2\x80\x99s technology strategy, positioning us for tomorrow. From the computers and collaboration tools of our employees to modernized infrastructure platforms and core services, we ensure that the firm\xe2\x80\x99s systems are running optimally while enabling business innovation and productivity. We also oversee BNY Mellon\xe2\x80\x99s architecture and data, guiding the firm through technology changes necessary to execute business strategies.
As part of TSG, the Application Infrastructure & Middleware team automates Middleware Engineering, including Platform Security, Application Messaging, Web Authentication, Public Cloud Engineering & Storefront. We also lead Java Engineering CoE.
The Role
As a Cloud Network Architect (CNA ) at BNYM, you will be responsible for working with our team of CNAs to design and build leading edge network solutions for mission critical IaaS, SaaS and PaaS in Public and Private Cloud. You will be responsible for developing new standards for connectivity and configuration, gathering business and functional requirements, and deploying solutions with automation for repetitive tasks.
The CNA has proven experience in networking, current DC technologies and SDDC, WAN and SDWAN, network routing, load balancers, DNS, network security solutions and public cloud networking. A working knowledge of developing automated solutions (Net DevOps) is required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop networking solutions for IaaS/SaaS/PaaS applications that reside in private cloud, public cloud or both.
Understand the \xe2\x80\x98big picture\xe2\x80\x99 to develop solutions that will integrate smoothly, provide high availability and follow standards and security policy.
Work with application engineering, devops, operations and clients to identify connectivity requirements. Understand end to end network traffic flows.
Design and deploy network solutions for integrated on-prem application functions with cloud application functions.
Develop and document new standards for network deployments.
Work independently, plan your work, lead networking discussions with other teams, vendors and clients
Provide leadership and coaching for deployment teams and network operations
