Role Summary Magna is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help build and support our Cloud Infrastructure and software. This role will be hybrid 3 days per week in office in Bangalore, India. Our team is focused on a rapid path to market, to maximize the benefits of our technologies for all. To do this, we need our engineers to be versatile, have leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about tackling problems across the full range of our systems. Working at Magna you will innovate with engineers and designers who cumulatively have decades of experience in various disciplines. Key Responsibilities Develop tools and flows to automate and optimize software deployment and testing, across cloud and on-prem infrastructure, especially in AWS. Deploy and monitor applications in Production environment using Terraform, Kubernetes, monitoring and logging tools along with other technologies. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions and tools that meets business needs. Ensure software quality and reliability by following best practices and standards. Participates in on-call support and ensures effective operation and systems health. Provide guidelines and mentoring for the implemented software, tools and components. Proactively perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals. Key Qualifications/Requirements Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python. Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Gitlab. Experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Registry. Deep understanding of Production deployment: scaling, performance, monitoring, security and networking. Experience working with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana. Strong knowledge and experience in Linux/Unix based environment and scripting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a Team player. Knowledge, Education and Work Experience Bachelor\'s degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies. 5 years of experience in software development / DevOps/ SRE. 5 years of experience in automated provisioning and managing resources in one of the major Cloud providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
