Expert - Public Cloud DevOps engineer:

Description

Cloud Center of Excellence group designs and develops Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) for Public Cloud deployments, develop new automation flows for ongoing operations of public cloud and establish the best practices, governance and security standards to achieve maximal cloud capabilities in minimal cost.

All this allows customers to experience the full benefits of Microfocus products as a service in off premise mode.

The position is for Expert Public Cloud DevOps Engineer to be part of 'CCoE' global group, dealing, currently mainly with AWS, to come - Oracle and Azure.

Education and Experience

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Minimum
6 years' experience in DevOps or SW development in Java/C#/Python - a must.

Experience with Public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Oracle/Google) - a must

Background as system/network/storage engineer or system administrator - a must

Experience with Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Selenium, GIT.

Experience in CI/CD processes

Experience in Cloud architecture.

Other requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels - a must

Strong analytical and problem solving skills - a must

Responsibilities

The Expert Public Cloud DevOps engineer will be responsible for develop Infrastructure as a Code and automation flows using high end technologies, leveraging the Public Cloud capabilities while taking into account cost optimization. All this with dealing both with internal and external customers.

In addition:

• Accompany new onboarding products and migrations into Public cloud
• Ability to identify ways and areas to automate manual processes
• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers
• Offer support and guidance internally within the team and externally - with customers
• Multitasking across many different tasks
• Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
