Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. The role focuses on automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows across AWS-hosted environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation for AWS infra using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and support Linux/Windows environments for optimal uptime.
• Automate provisioning/configuration of AWS services (RDS, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch).
• Build scripts and workflows to support audits, compliance, and security.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues; perform RCA and implement preventive actions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security to embed automation in release and governance workflows.
• Maintain automation standards, SOPs, and operational playbooks.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with automated DR orchestration, Vault Lock, WORM protection.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, API integrations, workflow automation.
• Exposure to ECS/EKS container environments.
• Understanding of ITIL (incident/change management).
