The Solution Architect is responsible for working across multiple initiatives and providing architecture insights, building solution designs and get them approved as per standards. The role involves developing designs which meet the long-term goals of the business, taking into consideration customer, scaling, security, and data requirements.

• 
  provide technical architecture support to assist in the delivery of project artefacts to support the project delivery framework, ensuring the IT solutions are designed and implemented according to the business and technical requirements and aligned to the
• 
  Develop, deploy and support integrations between various IT applications. These integrations would be built various technologies
• 
  Provide operational system support and maintenance for queries and issues logged by both internal and external customers, providing all levels of assistance in problem resolution, fault fixing and system administration
• 
  Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 
  Minimum of 15 years of experience of working in IT infrastructure engineering/architecture
• 
  Strong experience with On-Prem / Private Cloud Infrastructure services.
• 
  At least 1 Infrastructure Advanced Certification (VMware, Microsoft, RedHat, Cisco, etc.) or hyperscaler Advanced Certification (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 
  TOGAF Certification or equivalent (ideal)
• 
  Experience with Private / hybrid cloud solutions either commercial tools (VMware, BMC, HP, Cisco, Microsoft) or OpenSource (Openstack, Cloudforms, etc.).
• 
  Experience with automation and Orchestration of infrastructure operational processes (Ansible, BMC, VMware, Red Hat, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
• 
  Knowledge of main hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V) and network virtualization (NSX, etc.)
• 
  Familiar with main operating systems (Linux and Windows) and middleware (appservers, webservers, databases and others).
• 
  Experience with Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• 
  Experienced in technology consulting projects:

o Data Center Transformation assessments
o Definition of Infrastructure Strategies and Roadmap
o Architecture Design and Implementation of Infrastructure and Automation Solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Primary experience of Infrastructure technologies both On premises and cloud
• 
  Support the software team in implementing architectural plans including hands-on involvement where appropriate.
• 
  Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
• 
  Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing specialists in the formalisation and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
• 
  Enable the delivery of short-term achievements along a roadmap to long term thinking/goals.
• 
  Champion a structured approach to business application solutions.
• 
  Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
• 
  Influence change to standards when necessary.
• 
  Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• 
  Develop and execute solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
• 
  Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary

Must haves:

• 
  Several years minimum commercial experience of software design & development.
• 
  Experience of analytics and large data, data pipelines & challenges
• 
  Knowledge and experience of cloud systems and architectures. Understanding of the relative merits of different architectural approaches.
• 
  Strong experience in a similar previous role building web-based cloud applications in AWS.
• 
  Understanding of B2B SaaS application requirements.
• 
  Strong communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders.
