Job Description

A successful candidate with 10+ years of experience in the role of design & implementation of end to end software solutions. You will engage and lead the Data Strategy engagement with client executives, define data architectures.

• 2-3 years of working experience with google cloud services
• Good understanding of Enterprise Data Lake. Experience on working with data pipelines, data validation, data processing, Data Governance etc.
• Provides technical leadership in Big Data and Cloud platforms (Hadoop Stack, NoSQL stores and Google cloud platform) across Engagements
• Visualize and evangelize next generation enterprise solutions in Big Data and Cloud space (Batch, Near Real-time, Real-time technologies).
• Strong understanding and experience in distributed computing frameworks, particularly Apache Hadoop 2.0 and associated technologies. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and its components (Streaming, SQL, MLLib)
• Expertise in designing and developing analytical solutions leveraging services like Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud Data Proc/ Data Flow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Big Table, Apache Beam, Airflow
• Have experience and exposure from on-prem to cloud migration
• Experience build CI/CD pipeline using Google Cloud Build, Artifact Registry and GKE.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java (any version) programing languages
• Experience working within a Linux computing environment, and use of command line tools including knowledge of shell/Python scripting for automating common tasks
• Exposure on Security, High-Availability, Reliability and Disaster recovery for Enterprise data platform systems.
• Evaluate and recommend Big Data and cloud technology stack best suited for customer needs
• Hold strong understanding to analyze structural requirements for new software and

Applications

• Apply best practices to all solution architecture, design areas, including on-prem, GCP, Azure or a combination. This includes areas such as Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.

• Having idea about deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, etc..) is preferred
• Experience with core Data Science techniques such as regression, classification or clustering, and experience with deep learning frameworks will have added advantage
• Certified as GCP professional cloud architect would have preference
