We are currently hiring a Client Services Analyst at our Mumbai location. This individual will join a team executing numerous client service responsibilities related to administering several software solutions. This role will be eporting to the Head of Client Services, the Client Services Analyst and will work closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate ongoing portfolio administration tasks. The Client Services Analyst will have responsibility for the completion of many key portfolio and transaction tasks and for reporting of aged items and ownership of resolution. As such you are required to be detail orientated, organised and able to maintain accurate and complete records at all times. We will also expect you to establish clear operational processes and document them accordingly as well as being able to allocate operational resources appropriately.

The candidate will have following responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with Directors and the operations team to assume deal management, updating files and tasks upon receipt:
  • Portal administration
  • Processing of asset transfers
  • KYC
  • Sending out notices
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Reporting to existing clients
  • Tabulating and reporting results of consent solicitations
  • Managing queries from holders of assets on the different portals
  • Provide UAT feedback to the Dev team
  • Ensure completion of all tasks within specified time - track and report on overdue items, work with Directors & Ops team to resolve issues.
Ad Hoc:
  • Managing ad-hoc transaction activity - assisting management team to administer ad-hoc and unscheduled transaction activity.
  • Reporting and Compliance - completing and delivering regular reports and action points to the Head of Client Services and working to improve procedures and processes based on regular findings.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in back office roles at a global custodian bank
  • Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience in customer and client service
  • Highly self-motivated, organised and able to manage own time
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the changing market, of our customers and of our company
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
  • Generally good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Desired requirements
  • A good understanding of financial markets, uncleared assets and share transfer protocols.
  • Good levels of IT literacy are desirable
