Job Overview The North American/Latin American (NAM/LATAM) Client Reporting Group is responsible for the data quality of Financial (both banking & investment products) and Demographic Data that is viewed by internal and external clients via the Private Banks online client applications as well as through various reporting mediums. The group works closely with the Banking and Product teams, Investment Counselors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, Technology, and other Global Client Reporting teams in the event any data discrepancies are identified. The Client Reporting Operations Analyst will report to the Americas Data Quality Team Lead based in Tampa, Florida, USA and will work to support the overall function of the NAM/LATAM Client Reporting Group. This position willing primarily focus on supporting standard reconciliations and is aimed to begin work prior to the standard Eastern Standard Time zone. The Data Quality NAM/LATAM Client Reporting Group provides support in the following areas: Financial Data Reconciliation Ad hoc requests for account closures Key Process Indicator (KPI) Reporting (known as Pulse Check & MIS) Key responsibilities include: Assist in all start of day activities to ensure all data loads are successful and total break population is identified for reconciliation activities to commence Investigate and remediate standard issues flagged by established systemic checks related to the processing of financial data received by upstream operations teams in a timely and accurate manner Assist in providing key metrics & management reporting to department in terms of daily reconciliation volumes Escalate any unusual activity to management and provide clear communication on a daily basis for handoff to Tampa team on any remaining breaks Qualification for position Bachelor's Degree, preferably in areas of Finance/Economics 5+ years of related experience in the Financial Services Industry Detail-Oriented and able to demonstrate ability to multi task and produce high quality, accurate work Ability to understand and follow financial data processing lineage Ability to operate efficiently in a time sensitive manner Champions progress, Works as a Partner, Drives Value for Clients, Delivers Results Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in policy adherence, control effectiveness, and open communication Ability to demonstrate a strong level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience working with and running reports from a financial database using SQL programming language a plus Able to collaborate with tech partners to perform root cause or trend analysis to clear data Experience working with Investment Performance measurement a plus Knowledge of securities settlements a plus Job Family Group: Customer Service Job Family: Institutional Client Management Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
