Clarity Technical Architect - Corporate Technology

Role Profile

The Clarity Architect will be an integral addition to the Corporate Services Technology (CST) team who drives the Clarity Product developement team for efficient service delivery.

CST intends to enable Clarity application support with right technical support to define solutions and monitor, recommend and remediate Clarity performance concerns with the support of the \xe2\x80\x98Clarity Architect\xe2\x80\x99. They also documents the solution & coordinates with the Enterprise Architect Team in taking the solution through the LSEG Governance processes where applicable.

There is an consulting aspect side of the role, the work with our internal stakeholders (the business) will be transformative. The solutions proposed to the Transformation Management Office will enable them to leverage the latest enhancements of the Clarity product.

This position requires strong knowledge of MSSLQL and Oracle database and should monitor the application performance and provide recommendations for optimization.

This position will need to recommend future Clarity product Roadmap to align strategically with organization\xe2\x80\x99s Program and Project Management Processes.

Tech Profile/Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in Clarity Product knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 8 years.
  • Strong MSSQL and Oracle Database knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 5 years
  • Strong background in Application development & SaaS implementation
  • Strong experience in building interface solutions with other application that are integrated to Clarity PPM for example ASANA, Oracle, Workday etc.
  • Demonstrate experience in performance monitoring via tools like Datadog, Cloud watch etc. and building remediation actions.
  • Demonstrable experience working throughout a project lifecycle, engaging with various stakeholders, and managing and/or reviewing appropriate project documentation.
  • Demonstrate working experience with Vendor for product fixes and upgrades.
  • Technical Documentation, Code Reviews, and Impact Analysis
  • Strong experience in Reporting Framework.

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Proven training in software development lifecycle or methodologies
  • High level of proficiency and understanding of Clarity product and architecture.

  • Ability to work cross functionally and champion initiatives.
Soft Skills:

  • Experience with delivery and/or supporting Corporate Technology systems/applications.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification that supports this role.

  • Strong communication & articulation skills.
  • Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking.
  • Strong people management capability
  • Strategic ability to define technical direction in the portfolio of products including technical strategies and plans and execution plans.
Detailed Responsibilities
  • Provide solution to change requirements working closely with the business.
  • Provide interface solutions with other application that are integrated to Clarity PPM for example ASANA, Oracle, Workday etc.
  • Provide technical directions for strategic PPM roadmap.
  • Monitor Application Performance and provide recommendations.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of Clarity solutions.
  • Seek to understand business needs and works to anticipate, identify, and meet employee needs.
  • Identify, capture, measure, report on Clarity Performance with clear KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Provide solution to change requirements working closely with the business.
  • Provide interface solutions with other application that are integrated to Clarity PPM for example ASANA, Oracle, Workday etc.
  • Provide technical directions for strategic PPM roadmap.
  • Monitor Application Performance and provide recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of MSSQL and Oracle to recommend Database optimization opportunities to improve Product performance.
  • Code Review and Impact Analysis review of Changes.
  • Identify Errors and work closely with Broadcom for fixes.
  • Provide Technical Documentations to changes.
  • Conducts Knowledge training sessions for Team development.
  • Identify avenues to tune the performance of current processes.
  • Acts as an inspiring leader, consultant, and trusted advisor, establishing and maintaining an ecosystem of contacts within business units to understand business activities and business drivers, as well as business vision and strategy.
  • Ensures all projects adhere to LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Group Standards for project methodology, governance, and risk management.
  • Work with Solutions Architects and Project Managers in defining potential technology solutions ensuring adherence and approvals to architectural principles.
