Supervise staff:
Manage and direct site laborers, subcontractors, and other staff to maintain productivity and allocate tasks efficiently.
Conduct inspections:
Perform regular site inspections to check work quality, ensure safety, and verify that the construction matches approved plans and specifications.
Project management
Ensure safety:
Implement and enforce all safety procedures and regulations to create a safe working environment.
Monitor progress:
Track project milestones, identify any delays, and take corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
Control costs:
Monitor the use of materials and equipment to prevent waste and reduce costs.
Manage resources:
Monitor and manage the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment.
Communication and reporting
Liaise with stakeholders:
Act as a key point of contact between the project management team, clients, contractors, and on-site workers.
Report on progress:
Prepare and communicate project status reports, updates, and any issues to senior management.
Problem-solving
Resolve conflicts:
Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise between different parties on the site.
Address problems:
Identify and address any problems that emerge during the construction process.
