Plan, organize, assign, direct, and review the work of employees engaged in the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and advanced water treatment facility, and reclaimed water distribution and disposal facilities. Oversee operation of facilities to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and in accordance with design criteria. Develop and implement techniques and methods of process control which increase plant efficiency. Oversee emergency and unscheduled work to assure appropriate follow through. Implement, direct and enforce plant safety and risk management programs. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Coordinate equipment repair or replacement such that plant effluent quality limits are maintained. Look after the requisition process for tools, materials, equipment, and services. Responsible for inventory of stored material for use in the plant. Review and comment on all plans for construction, repair, or replacement of any plant components. Oversee the preventive maintenance program of the plant. Provide subject matter expertise for Civil infrastructure water/wastewater treatment permitting and the delivery of treatability studies, conceptual design, process optimization, and system operations of waste water treatment Look after preparation of work orders. Managing engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed. Oversee the work of others contracted to work on plant components. Display strong communication and interpersonal skills; visit clients, jobsites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs. Drive ownership of health and safety in all aspects of work projects from work site to personal environments. Serve as team leader or work as an integral part of a team; provide mentoring for less experienced staff/team members. Perform other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
