Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Assist in planning and execution of new hospital construction, renovation, and expansion projects. Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and work schedules. Liaise with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Site Supervision:

Regularly visit project sites to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards. Supervise site activities, contractor work, and material usage. Monitor project progress and report updates to management.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure construction follows healthcare standards (e.g., infection control, fire safety, accessibility). Verify quality of civil materials and workmanship. Conduct site inspections and audits.

Vendor Management:

Evaluate and finalize civil contractors and vendors. Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery. Certify contractor bills and work completion reports.

Facility Maintenance Support:

Support the Facilities team in addressing civil repair and maintenance across operational hospitals. Ensure minimal disruption to clinical operations during civil works.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and building codes. Experience in hospital or healthcare infrastructure projects preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (required) 3-6 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in healthcare or commercial construction Experience in hospital or clean-room environments is a plus

Work Environment:

Willingness to travel to project sites across various cities/states. Ability to work in a fast-paced, healthcare-sensitive environment.
