Currently, we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team for the 220/132/33KV Tsitrongse Sub-station project in Dimapur, Nagaland. :
As a Civil Engineer for the Tsitrongse Sub-station project, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure associated with the sub-station and transmission line project. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of all civil components, adhering to relevant codes and standards. This position requires hands-on experience in managing civil engineering aspects of 220KV sub-stations and transmission line projects. Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer for the Tsitrongse Sub-station project, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure associated with the sub-station and transmission line project. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of all civil components, adhering to relevant codes and standards. This position requires hands-on experience in managing civil engineering aspects of 220KV sub-stations and transmission line projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and construction of civil works related to the 220/132/33KV sub-station, including foundations, buildings, fencing, roads, and drainage systems.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify optimal locations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to integrate civil and structural components seamlessly with electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for civil works.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of civil construction activities within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective measures to maintain high construction standards and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report to project management on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues related to land acquisition, permits, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel as needed.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s(B.Tech)/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on 220KV sub-stations and transmission line projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to power infrastructure projects.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities in challenging construction environments.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in challenging terrain and weather conditions.
- Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) is preferred but not required.
