Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure. Convert conceptual designs into technical drawings and construction documents. Review designs and drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards. Collaborate with architects, site engineers, contractors, and clients to understand requirements and offer technical solutions. Assist in material estimation, planning, and quality control by providing accurate drawings and documentation. Update and maintain project files, records, and revisions. Ensure designs are optimized for structural integrity and cost-efficiency. Provide technical support during construction, including on-site visits and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience in AutoCAD drafting, layout preparation, and design. Good understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and material specifications. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. Revit, STAAD Pro). Knowledge of civil construction codes and safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
