This group provides engineering services for facilities which includes but not limited to data centers, manufacturing, commercial, food & consumer product, and aviation. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Civil Engineer to join our growing Global Facilities team in Mumbai office to lead and support structural design activities on projects mainly in North America region. The successful candidate will report to the department manager and will assist in building the structural team to support future facility design projects. Key Responsibilities: Handle project independently Perform and check routine/complex types of calculations and designs using both computeraided and manual design techniques and reviewing the detail drawings and layout. Responsible for design of site grading, roads, pavements, and drains. Working out cut/fill quantities and site grading o Use of tools like CIVIL 3D, In Roads, Open Roads o Surface creation/modeling for rough grading, excavation and ramp Planning design and modeling of Roads and Stormwater drainage works o Design of oily water drainage and pressure pipe networks Knowledge of Erosion Control o Interference Check with other disciplines and resolution of Inter Disciplinary Clashes . Modeling of Underground Civil like Ditches, Culverts, Valve Pits, Trenches, Drains etc . Capture internal client requirements and if needed, advise them regarding structural/civil systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes. Coordinate with other disciplines, client(s) and other stake holder(s) to develop a clash free system design. o Responsible to manage the assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget. Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects and organization. o A committed team player able to work on own initiative. Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Masters in Engineering an added advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills o Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in Civil design for industrial facilities and buildings. Understanding of codes and standards (AASTHO, IRC etc.) and its applicability for practical design of industrial facilities and buildings. o Dynamic personality, eager to learn and interested in a stable commitment. Knowledge of below mentioned tools: Exposure to design software CIVIL 3D must AutoCAD Knowledge of Navisworks will be added advantage Knowledge of Open Roads, Open Rail and Bentley tools Microsoft Office Tools - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote Not Applicable #BMI N/A
