Looking for an ideal candidate having 10-12 years of experience in managing Warehouse and Logistics role.

Client is one of the leading manufacturers of Plastic Additives coming with its green field project.

Job Title: Manager - Warehouse and Logistics.

Education and Experience : Any Graduate/Post-Graduate having experience of 10-12 years of experience in managing warehouse and logistics function.

:

• Manage the logistic and warehousing team, today composed of one specialist and one MHE operator.
• Handle overall logistics activities, mainly Export / Import, inbound and outbound from warehouses.
• Responsible to work closely with Shipping Line, Warehouse operator, Transporter, Custom House agent.
• Negotiate rates with service providers to secure the best rate with a service commitment.
• Dispatches to be planned to high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Make a daily plan of dispatch and update the Customer Services and Supply Chain Management team.
• Able to train and get effective work done from internal teams and service providers.
• Demonstrate a high level of ethical standard in handling transporters and ensure timely documentation and payment to service providers.
• Has the ability to plan and confirm daily dispatch based on production planning and ensure meeting 100% dispatch plans.
• Provide timely feedback to Customer Service and Supply Chain Management in case of unusual delays expected.
• Prepare MIS and analysis of customer complaints with an action plan.
• Handling advance licenses, EPCG, renewal of export house certificate, Filling of EPCG redemption
• Coordinating/Negotiation with CHA, Shipping Forwarders, freight forwarders and Transport companies for smooth movement.
• Well versed in Import-Export Operations, Pre and Post shipment documentations, Export/Import policies, Customs & GST procedures, and other applications thereof.
