Job Description


Function overview:

Research Operations consists of 45 people spread across 6 teams. Each team manages different aspects of Research Operations, partners with various global teams including Senior Management, Compliance, Legal, Technology etc. and is instrumental in driving Global Projects. The functions of each team vary from provisioning research access for clients; maintaining client data integrity; MIS Reporting and analytics support for various performance metrics and research business management; maintaining disclosures for research reports and analyst permissions for publishing research; production support, and maintenance of our financial database.

Key responsibilities:

  • Onboarding of Corporate and Non Corporate Analysts and other users into the proprietary system
  • Onboarding of Companies into iMaintain to be covered by Equity and Credit Analysts
  • Static reference data maintenance of Users and Companies in the proprietary system
  • Company specific Disclosures: This includes the identification during onboarding , monthly review and analysis of conflicts of interest disclosures
  • Amendments to the Disclosure database wherein the literature for the static and dynamic disclosure data that appears on Research Reports is stored
  • Execution of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reference data and Risk & Control tasks
  • Communicate and interact regularly with the Research analysts and Research teams globally
Required attributes:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to be able to partner with a number of teams globally
  • Be a self-starter and demonstrate commitment to work and to the team
  • Detail oriented with a mindset for data quality control
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, multi task and prioritize work efforts and able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Take ownership for allocated work
  • Should have a collaborative work style, fostering co-operation and teamwork.
  • Flexible to work in rotating shifts as per Asia and EMEA timings
Q ualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
