Job Title: CIB - Security Services Complex Assets Product Development & Onboarding - Vice President Short Description: The successful candidate will work within the Complete Assets product development and client onboarding team supporting the Securities Services business. In addition to the project management of all Complex Asset onboarding in the APAC region the team is responsible for delivering all aspects of change driven by both internal and external stakeholders and it includes both strategic and tactical investments to meet essential client and business needs. This ranges from small scale projects up to full scale platform re-engineering and migration programmes. Posting Description: The Complex Assets product development and client onboarding team covers over the counter (OTC) derivatives, equity swaps/contracts for difference (CFD) & bank loans support for Securities Services clients in the APAC region. These include: institutional investors hedge fund managers asset managers and private equity firms. Key components of the service offering include trade capture, valuation, accounting, lifecycle management, management of settlement/confirmations, reconciliation services, collateral management support and analytics. The role is broad and requires a diverse set of skills given its coverage across traditional product development responsibilities managing change across the business as well as being part of a global team of project and client facing resources focused on onboarding new clients/fund managers into the Operations infrastructure for OTCs/CFDs and migrating clients from legacy to new Fund Accounting platforms within Securities Services. The group provides a unique mix of project and product development skills providing a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to manage and execute change and onboarding across the firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with global operations, technology, external clients, fund managers and various other stakeholders across lines of business, performing detailed business analysis, partnering with senior team members to formulate a plan of execution on new initiatives and the manage and execute all client, fund manager and accounting migrations in region. Job Responsibilities: Build a strong working relationship with Operations end-users and Technologists to support the build-out of features in the strategic target platforms. Drive high level design of solutions working closely with Operations and Technology. Document business requirements, and communicate these requirements to the Technology development team for the design and implementation of business solutions. Project management of multiple in-flight projects and onboardings. Communicate progress of the project, onboardings and migrations within all levels of the organization to keep team members and leadership appraised of progress, challenges and escalations as required. Management of project risks and issues. Responsible for identifying and securing all sign-offs from Tech, Risk and Ops managements as applicable. Partner closely with Clients, Operations and Fund Accounting Operations to onboard & migrate clients efficiently and accurately across platforms and insuring operational readiness. Engage in the design and implementation of Complex Assets Product Development strategic roadmap. Provide project management of various new and ongoing complex asset client onboarding projects including the identification, analysis and solutioning required. Facilitate the delivery of the robust, scalable technology aligned with the strategic roadmap to meet clients\' needs. Strong understanding of current operational models and associated priorities for change and strategic planning. Build a strong working relationship with the business and other stakeholders across multiple lines of business providing thought leadership developing options and recommendations. Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: We are looking for a motivated, high performing individual with experience in either a Product Development, Onboarding, Operations or Technology based environment within the financial services industry. Working business knowledge of Bank Loans, Equity Swaps or OTC Derivatives across one or more asset classes (Rates, Credit, Equities, FX, or Commodities). Previous experience of project managing large strategic change programs and/or onboardings is desirable, with hands on analysis and testing experience. Should have the skills to understand and drive business priorities, in order to drive effective business solutions. Experience to perform feasibility study of solutions and confirm they help solve current business needs and cater for future business growth. Should have experience to document business requirements, and communicate these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of business solutions. Experience to work with the Quality Management team to oversee and ensure that requirements documentation are translated into test plans, and testing plans are executed. Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines. Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
